- Uganda is trying to make homosexuality punishable by death again. So this week's countdown is how long until one of the Republican Presidential candidates is directly linked to this.
- Some psychopath in Scotland has skipped right to the point and tied a gay man to a telephone pole and burned him to death.
- So clearly Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ) is right that gay marriage is "a threat to the nation's survival" and it's not bigots like him that are the problem.
- Religious Right Leader Joel Olsteen thinks that gays will stop being gay if we just love them enough. Which I guess is better than the Family Research Council calling for the country to pray for the gays to no longer "possess our nation's children."
- Finally, Shorter University in Georgia is now requiring all staff to sign a pledge swearing that they're not gay or they'll be fired. And that's perfectly legal, which is what you should remember the next time the Employee Non-Discrimination Act comes up for a vote.
