- Mitt Romney wants to make sure the middle class knows that he isn't interested in "trying to put money in people's pockets, that's the other party." Which might explain why he wants to keep the Bush Tax Cuts which will give the wealthiest 1% more in cuts than the average 99% earns in a year. Well unless like Newt Gingrich you believe that nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office is a "reactionary socialist institution." Then you can just throw facts out the window and believe whatever the hell you want.
- So we know how the Republicans feel about protecting the 1%, but what about the rest of us? Well we know that their buddies on Wall Street are looking into running a smear campaign against the Occupy Movement in an effort to hurt Democratic election chances in 2012. Their propaganda organ thinks that pepper spraying protestors isn't a big deal because "it's a food product essentially." Which is still better than Ann Coulter, who thinks the cops should just murder a few protestors to shut the whole thing down:
Welcome to the working week.
