Game of Thrones Renewed for Season 3, and I Am Right Again

HBO has renewed Game of Thrones for a third season citing the 8.3 million viewers of the second season premiere.  For those keeping track at home, that pretty much fulfills this prediction I made at the beginning of the year:

19. The second season of Game of Thrones will be an even bigger ratings hit than the first, and will be picked up for a third season by the third episode.

Kind of spooky, right?
