- It can't be fun to be Chris Christie under normal circumstances. It really can't be fun Chris Christie when your likely Democratic Gubernatorial challenger Newark Mayor Cory Booker runs into a burning building to save a woman's life. The number of things in that sentence that Christie isn't physically capable of is astounding.
- The White House has a new widget that if you tell it your tax data will tell you how many millionaires pay less in taxes than you do. Which is an excellent example of why we need the Buffett Rule, but also kind of depressing.
- Just how badass is Elizabeth Warren? She's simply forwarding her opponent, Scott Brown's, fundraising emails to her own supporters. Apparently she's having more success with them though, since she brought in twice as much money as him in the first quarter.
- Over the past few weeks I have taken a moment to crow about the fact that Romney is losing women, latinos, and asians. In the spirit of that tradition Romney still hasn't won over Midwestern or conservative Republicans (hint: he might need those). Oh, and surprising exactly no one, 60% of Americans say that the more they hear about the Tea Party, the less they like it.
- Finally, we have what I think is the first promise for Obama's second term: immigration reform. So that's something to look forward to.
