One Sentence Review of The Avengers

While a little light on plot, The Avengers accomplished the only two things it needed to: 1. it allowed us to watch the characters we loved from the previous Marvel movies bounce off each other, and 2. it delivered on the promise of an action movie combining a bunch of different action movies; if you're looking for a great popcorn flick The Avengers will make you very happy, and if you're looking for anything else why are you watching The Avengers?  (I'll probably have more to say after I see it again later this week.)
