- It's easy (and often accurate) to criticize Facebook, which is why they deserve credit when they do something right. Last week they created a way to become an organ donor through the site, and already there's been a 5,000% registration increase in California alone.
- A three-judge panel in Texas has reversed a rogue Republican Judges stay of the previous stay of the new Texas law to defund Planned Parenthood (writing about appeals is fun like tongue twisters). Which means that the law won't be taking affect anytime soon.
- While there's plenty of bad news in the battle to ensure citizens have their right to vote, Connecticut proves to be a bright spot: the Connecticut legislature passed a same-day voter registration bill.
- Finally Vice President Joe Biden, Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, and 11 State Democratic Party Chairs have come out in favor of gay marriage in the past week. Maybe it's time to stop evolving?
