Weekly Weekend Caption Contest

This week's caption contest is a little different than most.  I want to take a moment to tell you about my dear old friend Steve Pappas.  Steve Pappas is everything that is wrong with modern American politics.  He claims to be an "independent" since losing as a Republican in 2004 for the Third District County Supervisor seat he now seeks, is owned outright by Tea Party financial backer Nancy Crawford Hall and a cadre of developers who want to turn the ecologically unique Gaviota Coast into the land of McMansions, he avoids talking about his position on the issues, and after losing in 2008 has spent the last 3 years unsuccessfully trying to disenfranchise 15,000 young voters in an attempt to accomplish in the courts what he couldn't do at the ballot box.  Steve Pappas is a smug, shallow, banal, little man and his only redeeming quality is that he's incompetent.  Here's a picture of him scouring a recount (that changed exactly 1 vote) looking for evidence of "voter fraud," you know what to do:

  1. "Well, that voter's only 19 and didn't vote for me. This one must be 'fraudulent'."

"Note to self: Get California on that 'voter ID' bandwagon."

"Why can't I just form a SuperPAC and buy this election already? Oh, wait..."

  2. "Man, USCB student's really don't like me."
