The character of Hellboy was created in 1993 by Mike Mignola. His is one of those timeless tales. A baby demon in hell is summoned forth by Nazi wizards during the height of World War II only to be captured by Allied Forces and raised by a kindly professor to defend the earth from paranormal threats and hunt Nazis.
